Leather Binding
We use fine quality materials to give a very pleasing finish to suit all budgets. Our leather books can feature:
- Sewn on tapes
- Reinforced end papers
- Leather covering
- Foil Tooling on the cover & spine
- French Groove outer hinge feature
Binding Styles
- Quarter Bound: The most economical covering method: book cloth cover with a leather spine covering extending partially over onto the cover.
- Half Bound: Book spine & corners are covered with leather or other high quality material, the remained of the book is covered in a more economical book cloth material
- Full Bound: Our most luxurious book finish, the cover is fully bound in high quality leather.
Book Styles
- Sewn Books: These are our strongest traditionally hand-bound books
- Stab Stitch Case Bound Books: Similar to the machine produced photo books available online by many retailers. These books are handmade and have a glued spine reinforced with stitching to make them stronger i.e. dissertations and single sheet binding.
- Loose Leaf Books: These are our very popular loose leaf binders/books. We have a more in depth look on our loose leaf product page here.
Book Covering Materials
